ELNA – Equality Library for Nordic Art Music – is database of works by women and gender-minoritized composers from the Nordic countries in the genre of Western art music.

Led by a collaboration of organizations and individuals across Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, this innovative project unites institutions from all the Nordic countries in maintaining and expanding the database. Designed for global reach, it provides musicians, ensembles and teachers worldwide with easy access to a rich repertoire of underrepresented voices in art music from the Nordic region.

After launch in April 2025 we will continuously develop the database by adding an advanced search tool, register more works, develop pages for inspiration and make improvements to the content.
