Linda Alexandersson is a composer, arranger, and conductor based in Lund, Sweden, known for her distinctive choral music that blends tonal beauty with dissonant details, minimalist influences, and a strong sensitivity to text. Her works often feature box notation, shifting time signatures, and rich harmonic textures inspired by composers such as Bach, Philip Glass, and Arvo Pärt. Her compositions frequently grow from visual or emotional imagery—like the movement of a jellyfish or the warmth of a sunrise.

Trained as a music teacher at the Malmö Academy of Music, Alexandersson graduated in 2011 with a focus on composition, choral conducting, and music theory. In 2008, she also studied composition at ListaHáskóli in Iceland. Since then, she has specialized in writing and arranging for choirs, with works published by Gehrmans Musikförlag and Ejeby Förlag. In 2022, her piece Önskenatt was selected for Gehrmans’ #svenskkörmusik initiative.

Since 2012, Alexandersson has served as artistic director of the women’s choir Korallerna, leading them to numerous successes at international festivals, including a gold medal and first prize in the women’s choir category at the 2024 International Stasys Šimkus Competition in Lithuania. She also works at Kulturskolan Lund, where she directs the boys' choir and the youth choirs Koritsia and Cantarsis Vocalis, collectively forming the Lund Youth Choir.

She was awarded the Eric Ericson Travel Grant in 2011 and the Madeleine Ugglas Scholarship for the promotion of choral art in 2021. From 2014 to 2019, she served on the board of the Swedish Choir Association.
